The site adjacent Bowling Harbour is earmarked for redevelopment but the harbour and breakwater offer an opportunity to create either a water feature or perhaps as a small harbour facility. Could a visitor park attraction themed on a fishing harbour enhance the area and new developments further?
It benefits from being only a few yards from the railway station and a short journey from Glasgow. Could it form a waterfront walkway link between the railway station and the canal?
